Activities & Clubs

Horizon Academy offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and clubs that allow students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build meaningful relationships outside the classroom.

Our clubs and activities are student-centered and faculty-guided, providing opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and personal growth. Many clubs participate in regional and national competitions, allowing students to showcase their talents and achievements.

Starting a New Club

We encourage students to take initiative and start new clubs based on their interests. If you have an idea for a club that doesn't currently exist at Horizon Academy, here's how to get started:

Requirements

  • Find at least 5 interested students
  • Secure a faculty advisor
  • Develop a mission statement and goals
  • Create a preliminary meeting schedule
  • Complete the club proposal form

Process

  1. Submit your proposal to the Student Activities Director
  2. Present your idea to the Student Government
  3. Receive approval from the administration
  4. Announce and promote your new club
  5. Hold your first meeting!
